Divrigi Kalesi Kazisi 2006/2017

Rich mineral deposits and Paulicians activity were the reason for recognition of Divrigi by the Turks who were coming to Anatolia after its fall in the hands of Meng jecks. There is not enough data available about Meng jeck activities in this settlement. As an important source from which we can learn are the mosque and the underground spaces inside the Castle area.
