Disaffected Patriots

Disaffected Patriots sets out to trace the composition, activities, and motivation of a group of Londoners who were sympathetic to the colonial cause during the period of the American Revolution. This study attempts, not merely to set the record straight, but also to provide an original perspective on the character of popular disaffection in eighteenth-century London.
