Differences Between John and the Synoptic Gospels

Anyone who has done a serious study of the Gospel of John and then sought to compare that Gospel with Matthew, Mark and Luke, found that they were immediately confronted with many differences. Over the years, I have studied all the Gospels and this has increased my interest in how others were handling these differences, both in their teaching and in their sermons. To my surprise, most of the people consulted have never made an honest effort to have some answer for these differences. Furthermore, I have not been able to locate any books that speak to the one problem of these differences.
