The book is about people who became life teachers in professional or private situations - out of situations of illness and hardship, the reflections of which opened up opportunities for development. But genuine friendship, real encounters and love are also characterised by 'crystallisation points' of mutual change and development. The teachers of our lives! What makes them special? This will be reflected in our stories: You will get to know, among others, my then almost hundred-year-old teacher, Mrs Knopfle, a care home resident, the dancing Mr Anton in a psychiatric clinic, Mrs Muller and her teddy bear, the HIV-positive Sonja and others... You will get to know them and possibly also come to love them.Perhaps the teachers in our lives will also become a little like yours? That is possible. In the spaces between health and illness, joie de vivre and fear, we also find encouragement for coping with our lives - even shortly before 'closing time'.
