Julius Schnorr von Carolsfeld's Die Bibel in Bildern is a wealth of biblical illustration. 240 woodcuts spanning the stories of the Old and New Testaments, this work was finally assembled in 1860 after serial publication starting in 1851. This new edition pairs each illustration with corresponding text from the King James Bible, making it an accessible resource for both young and old studying the narrative of Scripture and the masterful work of this illustrator.
