This is a great book for developing language skills in young children as it teaches rhythm which is so important later on in developing their writing skills. It's fun and current and it's simple enough for young children to understand and yet still engages their imaginations. What's more, it appeals to their sense of gratitude, right and wrong, cause and effect and humor.
