Diamonds in the Sand

It is 1940, and a catastrophic German invasion of Belgium and Holland isimminent. Against his will, Henk de Ridder a captain in the Netherlands armyhelps his father-in-law to smuggle a priceless box of cut diamonds from Antwerpto Java. The stones arrive safely but by 1941 the Japanese are preparing toinvade the Dutch East Indies. Again Henk must hurry the box away, this time toAustralia. But the Dutch airliner carrying them is shot down by Zeros and crashesin the wilderness of North Western Australia. Where are the stones? Can they berecovered? Henk is one of many determined to fi nd them.
