A simple life just became complicated.

Arnette didn't know what hit her. One minute she was having a normal day with her family, the next, soldiers arrest them and take them to the Grand Citadel. Arnette's husband is whisked away to become a pawn in the emperor's schemes while Arnette is moved into the Three Towers to join the emperor's harem as a Brass Wife.

Soon Arnette learns that there are many echelons of might and prestige in the Three Towers. She seeks to earn the highest level to have the power she needs to free her true husband, Damien. But in order to do that, she may have to become a person she never wanted to be.
