Dhuoda

This text explores the work of Dhuoda of Provence as an example of the theology of the early middle ages. It examines her hermeneutics, her reworking of a moral tradition based on the beatitudes as guidance for her son and her advice to him on negotiating the conflicting claims on his loyalty.
