Development of metaphonological skills

We understand that metaphonological skills are essential for children to satisfactorily advance in the learning process in the literacy cycle and beyond. In view of this, we believe that one of the ways children can develop these skills is through teaching that prioritizes this knowledge. Without schooling, children may even develop some metaphonological knowledge, but it is always restricted.
