Determinants of Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development in Kosova

Entrepreneurship and small businesses are the basis for economic development all over the world. They play an important role in employment, income and societal changes, particularly in transition economies. The systemic social and economic changes which underlined the early stage of transition created the conditions for the development of entrepreneurship and small firms. This book employs various strands of theories of entrepreneurship, theories of growth of the firm and the new institutional economics approach in order to develop a more integrated framework for the investigation of the determinants of entrepreneurial activity and small business growth in the transition and post-conflict economy of Kosova.
