Detachment

Stephen Maynard is a successful businessman with a loving wife and two children. His life is perfect, and he is celebrating winning another deal. As he stops for a break on his journey home, he sees something on the TV news that would change his life forever. Events are revealed from the perspective of Stephen and from the family's housekeeper who writes letters to an old friend. Financial worries force Stephen to change his career to crime but can he keep it secret from his family? Can people live detached lives based on lies or does the truth finally come out?
