Defatted rice bran in broiler chicken feed

The use of by-products in diets can be a good alternative for reducing costs; however, the unavailability of some nutrients can lead to loss of performance and a decrease in the productive potential of animals. One by-product that deserves mention is rice bran, which comes from rice polishing in industry and is produced in large quantities in the state. It has a good nutritional composition, but is rarely used in non-ruminant feed due to the presence of anti-nutritional factors.
