Death in the Sun and other stories

'DEATH IN THE SUN and other stories' are short stories of crime and mystery, the majority of them set in southern Spain in the Axarqu a, where John has lived for over 23 years. Most of the rest are in North Yorkshire, Essex and Norfolk. The stories contain murder, exploitation, terrorist activity and obsession, some relating back to events in the Spanish Civil War. Whilst some contain dark events, most have a light and sometimes humorous vein, and all have a twist in the tail or an ambiguous ending.
