Deadly Sands

A long, hot and uneventful summer is drawing to a close, when Detective Sergeant Wally Baker is rushed to hospital, and a young woman is raped and murdered on the beach at Morton Sands.While Wally fights for his life, Inspector Carl West and Detective Constable Peter James search for a killer, with all the markings of a hunter and collector, in a desperate bid to catch him before he strikes again.As the investigation drags on, things do not go to plan, and Carl finds himself facing the demons every policeman hopes he'll never meet.
