Daycare of Feelings

This is a short fictional easy-to-read philosophic novel in which Dr. Malki explores the relevance of feelings and their impact on our lives. This novel is quite original: It takes place in the soul of a human being (the Daycare), where our invisible feelings finally come to life, with Fear, Joy, Hunger, Anger, Sadness and Guilt leading the pack. Fear is the leader and in a way she represents the conscience of the daycare. But as the human flesh gets old and the heart starts failing, Fear realizes that she is running out of time and begins to recount her secrets that she has shared with Mother Nature with her dear sister, Joy, about Mother Nature''s attempt at creating humans: After creating the universe, Mother Nature grows lonely, and decides to create humans to keep her company. Her initial attempt utterly fails, because Mother nature created humans without feelings! She thought that she could directly download her abstract knowledge into humans and make them instantly wise and virtuous, much like modern humans nowadays download large amount of data in their computers to make them instantly smarter. But an unpleasant surprise was awaiting her: Those humans she created do not comprehend abstract concepts; the memory she equipped them with is allergic to her abstract knowledge. Humans, it turns out, can only absorb and understand the language of feelings. What is Mother Nature to do? Should she scrap her experiment and continue to live lonely, or take a gamble on humans who only listen to their feelings and turned a deaf ear to their creator. Come visit the daycare and meet the main characters of this novel: Fear, Joy, Sadness, Guilt, Anger, etc... as they run the day-to-day affairs of their Daycare. The novel is basically a dialogue between Fear and Mother Nature on one hand and between Fear and Joy on the other. Will Mother Nature and Fear become friends? can they see eye to eye on the important philosophical questions of life?
