Day Nineteen

Life hasnt been easy for the two Braden boys. From the outset, theyve endured one episode after another, usually ending in tragedy. Their friendships and relationships are continually challenged and, at times, tarnished by others envious of their success. Chad, the younger brother, lives a life replete with obstacles and reversals, though hes strong enough to overcome those ever-occurring crises. Chad is different from Pat, his older brother. Chad becomes a naval intelligence officer, cloaked in secrecy and conspiracies, always targeted by potential enemies that cause havoc to the lifestyle and freedom of society. Hes up to the challenges, but he suffers the failures that accompany such a position. As Chad awaits execution in nineteen days for the murder of his fiance and her father, will the collective faith of the brothers be enough to ward off the gas chamber and return him to a life of service to the country? Or will he suffer death as a consequence?
