Daughter Raised by Grandmom

I was a daughter who never bonded with my biological mother because of her decision to give me to my paternal grandmother to be raised from birth. Seeds of rejection and abandonment took root and affected me in every area of my life and developed a defense mechanism that prevented me from trusting others.
