Darcy Williams is the new manager, and he meets Beth Phillips in the packing room. Then they meet outside the office, and spend time together . But Darcy will never have an uneducated counry girl as a girlfriend, however attractive he finds her.Then, with a few ill-chosen words, Darcy destroys Beth's career and her self-confidence.  When he discovers his dreadful mistake, he is devestated.
