Daniel: A Play

This verse play, which has been described as magnificent, is a recreation of the biblical story of Daniel in the lions' den. The verse, beautiful and powerful, incisively brings alive the dilemma of Daniel when he is called to choose between God and his intimidating human benefactor Darius, and the play achieves the very rare feat of at once being a delight for the reading eyes and a joy for the performing stage. "Daniel" was 1st runner-up in the prestigious 1994 ANA drama competition, beaten only by the author's other play, "Esther".
