Dance in the Rain

The author's collection of short stories encompasses a time period of three years (Sept. 1968 - Sept. 1971). During that time, a young man travels ground from being a high school student to a veteran of the Battlefield. Warp drive speed marks the journey coupled with life altering experiences. Parental lessons, physical and emotional toughness, perseverance, a sense of humor, and genuine luck blend into triumph. All paint a landscape teaching that "life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to Dance in the Rain" (Loraine Green, 2006).
