Cyborg Security

Widow Aerria faces galactic prison when her precocious daughter rescues a child from an observation-only planet. She refuses to return the child to an abusive home and needs to find a way to keep him and not go to prison.She turns to old friend Domingo, a recovered cyborg and head of security, for help. A short story set in the Diaspora Worlds universe.
