Cubs Anthology

This book is a collection of novels by local writers with the theme of growth. The twelve short stories are all set in Feilong County, a small town in the south. The author depicts a group of young people from different classes in the county town with a cold, delicate and poetic tone, and subtly conveys the complex and subtle beauty, pain and confusion of growing up. Chen Ming was my closest childhood playmate, a very mischievous, assertive but imaginative boy. Once, he was playing at someone else's house and fell in love with their chick, and then accidentally twisted the chick's neck. Chen Ming's parents gave Chen Ming a hard lesson after making up for it. Unlike our embarrassment when "e;enjoying"e; the chicken that "e;died"e; accidentally, Chen Ming swallowed it without any difficulty, and then cheered up again.
