Crushed at the Crossing or the Tyranny of Freedom: A Drama in One Act

A story about immigrants and shattered American dreams. An east African taxi cab driver in 2018 in an American city takes a passenger, a Puerto Rican Republican, to a secluded location to clarify points the passenger raised in a complaint he lodged against the driver with the taxi company. During their exchange they find commonalities among them, but not enough to prevent the unfortunate outcome of the meeting.
