This book of daily readings, takes into consideration, that the scriptures have only one meaning but many applications, and the commentaries seek to focus on the meaning of the scriptures. The daily readings are centered around calendar events, special events, holidays, special days, favorite passages in the Bible, etc. At the end of each day's reading, there is a closing thought on which to ponder.
