This book deals with the theory of evolution, which is more than two centuries old, in light of the highly organized and complex systems that modern science has achieved, in which a single cell operates, the details of which we are still trying to discover. The book criticizes this theory on the basis of its reliance on chance and the randomness of occurrence, but we agree with the statement of the unity of life in the sense of the unity of its matter, the unity of its systems, and the laws to which it is subject. The book covers minute details that may not be suitable for the average reader, but rather for the specialist. Therefore, there is a summary at the end of each topic that is suitable for the non-specialized reader. The author of the book, Dr. Reem Mahmoud Mohamed Maabad, graduated from the Faculty of Science, Cairo University in 2002, and obtained a master''s degree and then a doctorate from the same university in the field of cell science in 2021. She currently works as a chemist at the Egyptian Drug Authority.
