Pat began writing poems around age forty-five. These poems are an accumulation of her experience s of over ninety-six years of living. Pat has written over 2,200 poems. Pat writes Personalized Poems about people s lives. She has received responses from four presidents, two first-ladies, and the Queen of England, plus others. Pat has met, and written poems about a Governor, a U. S. Senator, four U. S. Congressmen, and two Georgia Representatives. Pat also writes religious, political, motivational and inspirational type poems. Pat published her first book The Climb Up Life s Mountain in 2009 at age eighty.
