Conducting Polymers

Conducting polymers are still at a research level. Commercial applications are not expected before several years.Here, we use electropolymerization using cyclic voltammetry technique to prepare some conducting polymers. By studding the kinetics of electropolymerization process we obtained the optimum conditions for preparation. The obtained polymers had characterized using several tools. Finally, we use the obtained polymers as a corrosion inhibitors to mils steel in HCl solutions at different temperatures with good corrosion inhibitor efficiency.
