Volume 7, includes Voltaire’s marginal notes on such diverse authors as Pluche, Plutarch, Pope, Pufendorf, Racine and Raynal. Comprehensive editorial notes show how Voltaire’s reading of the books in his library influenced his own writing, and the volume also contains an index of Voltaire’s works referred to in the editorial notes.
