Comes The Woman

Why do people hide who they truly are behind the locked iron doors of disquiet, where so deeply enshrouded are those sensitive emotional concealment's, that true love may be the only instrument able to unearth a vital part of a person's soul; those things which are deeply buried out of fear, real or imagined? Calendar is a small friendly town connected to three hamlets where everyone trusts and knows their neighbors by their first names, throughout the vicinity. Suddenly three sweet and well-to-do elderly women are victimized under separate circumstances in different locations. In his quest for resolution of these unacceptable happenings in his town, Sheriff C.C. Corrigone meets and develops an unintended and unofficial partnership with the lady preacher of the church where all three women happened to attend. What he discovers is that maybe there's more than meets the eye besides the obvious; maybe even within his own heart and mind.
