Colouring Outside the Lines

I began writing this when I was fifteen, after the birth of my first child. I have added to it over the years not knowing what lay ahead. I wanted to share my story with everyone, to help those who find themselves in similar situations, or know someone who is. It's very easy to believe that your life has ended at that moment and that you will never be the same person again, but there is hope! Use these past experiences to empower yourself, to build on your character. Use the pain and anguish to make you stronger. You may never breathe a word to anyone but it is how you use your past experiences that counts. Learn from your mistakes, protect those you love and look onto your future with hope and excitement. Time heals all wounds.
