Collective Presence

Note: This story is based on an experience I had with my mother, shortly before she passed several years ago.  Also, there's a new theory about life after death which states that there is a cosmic consciousness in our galaxy.  It is theorized that our consciousness is carried over into the Collective and a similar theory also comes from reincarnation and some religious beliefs. This is a fictional story about some of those ideas. I found myself teary-eyed at the ending.
