Featuring highlights from the great collection of the Chrysler Museum of Art, this volume includes paintings by leading American artists, such as Copley, Cole, Bierstadt, Homer, Cassatt and Hopper; Italian Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces by Filippino Lippi and Salvator Rosa; Dutch and Flemish Old Masters, including Peter Paul Rubens; and the work of European painters like Velazquez, Delacroix and Gauguin.
