ClownTown-Pop

ClownTown is your average American small town in the U.S. except for one little thing... More than half the town's populous wears clown make-up at all times. Don't get it wrong; they're NOT circus, rodeo or carnival clowns. They are townsfolk that like to wear clownface in their everyday walks of life. They are teachers, butchers, construction workers, grandmothers, and even hookers. Like I said; all walks of life Sheriff Angelina Saint Cloud has the job of keeping the peace between the Clownfolk and the 'Norms'; (those who don't wear make-up). That delicate balance is tipped as a dead clown is found just outside the city limits. The plot thickens as the mystery ensues in this novel that is a cross between 'Twin Peaks' and 'Pleasantville'.
