Climats II (Japan)

Climats II (Japan) , Lola Reboud's first book, is based on the relationship we have with Climats - human environments, and where the geography of territories, like the cycle of seasons, is as important as individuals. Following discussions with the volcanologist Patrick Allard, a researcher at the Paris Globe Institute, Lola Reboud went to the Kyushu region to photograph volcanic observation laboratories and the sites of Sakurajima and Aso San, as well as in Beppu, where geothermal energy is particularly visible. This photographic ensemble forms a narrative in which a human figure mingles with his environment. The geothermal energy that characterizes the Nippon archipelago is also at the heart of the subject.
