Climate Risk Screening System for Mainstreaming Adaptation into Bangladesh's National Development Budgeting

This manual discusses the process of climate risk screening/climate risk and vulnerability assessment (CRVA) mainstreamed into the project formulation and implementation system of Bangladesh.

This manual uses a modified CRVA tool based on the climate risk management framework, which was developed to help assess the climate and disaster risks and vulnerability of public sector development projects in Bangladesh, and to ensure that their designs and subsequent development project proformas address significant climate change and disaster risks.
