A shy, sickly girl born to factory workers in the Piedmont area of Virginia, the author fought through epilepsy, and a harsh home life to begin the long road to physical, emotional and spiritual healing. The author made plenty of mistakes along the road of life, but most of us can relate to that. Life is all about choices and for the poor decisions we make, we usually pay dearly.
