Clarimonde

Clarimonde'' is a short story originally published in French, in 1836, under the title ''La Morte Amoureuse'' (in English: ''The Dead Woman in Love''). It tells the story of Romauld, a priest, who falls in love with the title character, Clarimonde. She, however, is a vampire, and Romauld begins to struggle with discerning reality from illusion. This is a classic vampiric romance and a must read for anyone with a passion for the genre.
