When a raging inferno destroys Ade's home, Conor feels powerless. So when Ade asks Conor for help to return to the family home, he reluctantly agrees. They uncover a strange and helpless creature among the ashes, its eyes blazing. The pair are determined to look after it, unaware of the danger ahead. The titles in the WOW! Fiction series of Hi-Lo books for students aged 9+ include books for reading ages 6-8 years and utilise a range of dyslexia-friendly features to support pupils' reading.
