Bobby Watts tells his story, one of an often and unjustly overlooked but never to be forgotten boxer. Born on a farm in South Carolina, Bobby made the difficult transition to city life when he moved to Philadelphia at the age of ten. Tired of being beaten and mugged he followed his cousins Jimmy Young to the gym one day in seventh grade. Enjoying the respect that came along being able to defend oneself, Bobby decided to make a career out of boxing. A career that led many to believe he was he best middleweight contender of his time. Somehow though, even despite beating champions, Bobby "e;Boolagoo"e; Watts was never given a title fight.
