Cervical Spinal Disorders

Neck pain is a common condition seen in the general practice of physiotherapy and occupational therapy. However, appropriate reading materials specifically intended for students therapists are rare. Therefore, this book is aimed to provide a comprehensive textbook for undergraduate rehabilitation science students, with the contribution of various experts in different medical disciplines. This book is comprised of five parts. Basic science such as anatomy, neurology and biomechanics of the cervical spine is included in part one. Common pathologies, clinical investigation procedures, diagnostics imaging, surgery and orthotic management of cervical spinal disorders are discussed in the third part, whereas the principles of rehabilitation of patients with cervical spinal disorders are explained in part four.
