Catch the Malabar Toddy-Cat

Two stories seamlessly merge into one, as the author sets out from America, inspired in the search for clues about a legendary native martial artist who lived in an area called Malabar in Kerala, South India during the time of the Portuguese settlement in the Middle Ages. The narrative weaves in and out of thrilling experiences while on this modern day journey, and at the same time keeps pace with the discovery of the life and times of this amazing martial arts hero and his tragic death. As the author moves around Malabar, exciting memories of his own childhood visiting his grandma there come flooding back. He befriends interesting locals who become catalysts for his quest to unearth the long gone martial arts hero, who in the end symbolically comes to life.
