Case Studies in Literary, Journalistic and Audiovisual Translation

The present volume is the fruits of the MA projects in the School of Foreign Studies of Yangtze University, Hubei, P. R. China. It contains four theses which explore such topics as literary translation, journalistic translation and audiovisual translation through a case study of A Dream of Red Mansions, The Call of the Wild, The Grandmasters as well as many news headlines collected from Chinese and English mews media. Some tentative research findings on literary, journalistic and audiovisual translation are offered via the case analysis.
