Captain Backhouse's Tomb

"I became fascinated with Captain Thomas Backhouse while researching the history of Havenfields, a large country house on the outskirts of Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire, where I have been privileged to work and stay for the past 20 years. The more information I found about him the more intrigued I became, discovering a forgotten soldier lost in the annals of 18th century history."
