California Boy

California Boy is a collection of funny stories about growing up in California during the 40s and 50s. They relate the adventures, odd happenings and unusual events of a youngster in a squirrely and transient family. We moved from town to town and school to school, 14 in all. I was suspended from grammar school because of the Holy Ghost, sank in a canoe in the Newport Beach bay and went on a clamming safari along the West Coast with a young family. These and other humorous and upbeat vignettes describe how life was at that time. Come with me on a fun filled trip down memory lane when there were no TVs, when Rock & Roll ruled, and Ike was at the top of his game.
