Bwengye: 2019

Bwengye is published to encourage the older students of Nyaka and Kutamba Primary schools to be creative, both with their writing and artwork. We asked them to create original pieces of prose, poetry, and artwork. These pieces could be based on everyday life in the village, traditional myths and stories, or fictional creations in fantasy worlds. The students were encouraged to expand their thinking and explore all possibilities. This is our first Bwengye collection. We invite you to enjoy the poetry, stories, and artwork of the students.
