Bullies, Socialites and the Shy Ones

How exactly do you determine the character of watercolor paints? How do you figure out the bullies from the socialites and the shy ones? Just as with friends, you can't do it by theory alone. What I will share with you here will, I hope, help you understand why some colors act the way they do, but the only way for you to know them well is to test them together and see how they react to, or get along with each other at various concentrations. There are no shortcuts to real understanding.
