Belle took a long, lingering, breath as shewalked out of the chapel into the fresh air.Was it the sad music, the thought of notseeing her mum anymore, or just thesuffocating smell of the lilies that had takenher breath away?Feeling empty with so many unansweredquestions bouncing around in her mind, shewondered why her mum had rejected her.Why had she left her two diaries?
