Brixham Pirate and the Mermaid

It was 1795 in Brixham, Devon. He was nearly eight years old and was already an accomplished sailor and fisherman. At sixteen he was enrolled into the Royal Navy Officers college, but his career ended quickly. With no money or prospects he had to do something drastic, so he became Captain Hawk, a Pirate.
