We left Paris in the evening and arrived two hours later at Orleans, made the tour of the town in the morning, and having seen the statue Of the Maid Of Orleans, and the houses of Agnes Sorel and some other celebrities, we con tinned our journey through one of the most fertile parts of France, including the interesting towns of Blois and Angouleme, to Bordeaux, where we arrived the same evening in time to take a drive and have a look at this apparently very rich town; its flourishing state, I was told, is owing principally to its commerce with England, and its large export of Bordeaux wines.by Dr. Roth.
